Pilates

My preferred methods edge towards Contemporary with being mindful of the Classical (Original Pilates taught by Joe). My style is (as I once discovered it) with lower back pain & minor mobility niggles in mind. I will always give lots of variations & modifications of exercises to suit all levels & I will often work with small equipment, blocks, balls, bands, ankle weights, foam rollers & small hand weights. Improving balance & adding resistance to challenge & correct minor postural imbalances fab!

Pilates is a wonderful way of improving your abdominal muscles, correct postural imbalances, help with functional balance, help protect & improve Pelvic tone (important after 50) as well as improve an overall state of wellbeing without cardio. Sessions are designed with you in mind which means there will always be an option for you no matter where you start. You will leaving feeling motivated, a little bit taller & alot more self aware. Your posture will thank you for the time you've invested.
